Room 7 Maths Slide Deck: This week, my class have been learning about gradients and algebra with Mrs Allan. They were clever enough to also explain to me what exactly they had been doing. Check out the first couple of slides below.
Room 7 Reading Slide Deck: This week we practised identifying the meaning of words in the context given, and explored why "texting is better than talking". Would you agree?
Room 7 Writing Slide Deck: We went on a "Musical Adventure" this week, listening to different songs and identifying the different emotions, memories and feelings we associate with each song. It was a challenging one for my class because it wasn't what they usually listen to. Did you know, music we enjoy that is uplifting and enjoyable can help us when we're feeling down about things?
Well done Room 7. I am very impressed with your learning attitude as you attend each classroom session as much as you can. What a lot of learning you have been doing. The 30 second news bulletins are fantastic. We use to do the same thing but in a modelling book. Its a great way to keep up with the local and international news. I look forward to seeing your learning for next week.

ReplyDeleteThanks for your message. I know a little bit about plotting coordinates but my students learned about this with another teacher, Mrs Allan, who is an expert mathematician. I worked with my students to help explain what they'd learned so there was a bit of teamwork with explanations. I needed to remind myself a little bit but the Room 7 students definitely helped me out.
