The Best and Worst of Season 5 Lockdown

Today was a success because I was able to contact most of the families in my class. I also did most of my chores and cleaned the house before the 9.30am call.

I am proud of myself because I had a very busy weekend driving to different shops for presents and food ingredients. I cooked a seafood chowder for the second time ever and a new potato salad recipe. Both dishes were delicious and  eye-catching!

The BEST Parts about Season 5 Lockdown :)

#5: Doing live cooking demonstrations with Room 7's Eggs on Toast and Pancake Stacks Friday.

#4: Being able to spend more time with loved ones and family members, even if it was mostly online.

#3: Enjoying "low n slow" bbq at Kohimarama beach for my birthday.

#2: Saving money because there were no takeaways at Level 4. I also didn't have to fill the car up as much!

#1: Sleeping in every day.

The WORST Parts about Season 5 Lockdown :(

#5: My school holiday was spent at home because we weren't allowed to go anywhere!

#4: There were no takeaways at Level 4. How did we survive?!

#3: I couldn't go to Bunnings, which also meant there were no sausage sizzles.

#2: Whenever it rained for days on end, it was harder to leave the house and go for a walk.

#1: Missing school and my students; being unable to teach, laugh and joke with all of them in person.

Lastly, a reminder to the amazing students in Room 7 and at Ruapotaka School. I have enjoyed great being able to stay connected and teach you during home learning. Please make sure over the next couple of days that you are well-rested, have your uniform and materials ready for your return on  Wednesday 17 November, 10.00am - 2.00pm.
Mutolu kia! Cheeeehuuuuuu!
