About Me 2021

Kia ora tatou! In today's Cybersmart session, we updated our profiles. We revisited the importance of what we choose to share when writing about ourselves online. What we think is funny now could change when we get older. We have to make sure we put ourselves in the best possible, positive and professional light. Be sure to read up on the rest of Room 7's profiles!

Have a great day - Mr N

Kia ora, fakaalofa lahi atu, how’s it goin’! My name is Mr Nevalagi. I am a Year 7&8 teacher at Ruapotaka School in Room 7.

Both of my parents from the small but mighty island of Niue in the South Pacific,  also known as Niue, the Rock of Polynesia. I am the eldest of four siblings and have two younger half sisters in Australia. I have a lot of nieces and nephews who are lots of fun to hang out with. Last but not least, I am engaged to my lovely fiancé, Angela.

I enjoy playing video games and have been a gamer since the early days of Nintendo, Sega Mega Drive and the humble coin-op machines at your local fish and chip store. I like reading sophisticated picture books. I enjoy watching action movies and anime. I need background music in most settings to help me concentrate.

While I don’t play a lot of sports now, I definitely watch and follow a range of sports like rugby league, rugby, netball and American Football. I love cooking and trying new foods from a range of countries and cultures. Go the mighty NZ Warriors!
